Entry requirements: A government issued photo identification and valid USI is required for course registration.

Students will gain the ability to complete the tasks outlined in the elements, performance criteria and foundation skills of the selected unit/s, including evidence of the ability to:

  • Conduct pre-operational checks
  • Identify and manage site hazards
  • Identify and use correct operating techniques to achieve optimum output while maintaining specified tolerances during tasks associated with the relevant equipment
  • Correctly storing equipment
  • Completing operator maintenance
  • Clearing the work area

The course comprises a written theory assessment (or for blended courses, an eLearning component), followed by a practical training session and assessment. Participants must be able to read, write and understand English in order to complete the assessment for this course.

Upon successful completion: All participants who complete this course successfully will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by Daysafe.
